Juan Rivera - 2009 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers , Part 10 of 12

Just when Juan Rivera (shown 2002 Bowman Heritage autographed baseball card) was getting his career on track a broken leg stole the majority of his 2007 fantasy season. Last year with the Angles he was in a platoon/rotation role which greatly limited his at bats. This year however, Juan Rivera should be a full time starter batting in the heart of the lineup - making Juan Rivera an excellent fantasy baseball sleeper.

From 2004-2006 Rivera averaged 400 at bats with an average north of 290. In a full 600 at bat season he would have blasted something in the neighborhood of 25 HRs. Since he turns just 31 mid season Juan Rivera is still in his prime and poised for a comeback.

He's not a guy to build your team around but Juan Rivera is worth an end game flier and should bring a nice combination of batting average and power.

You can get your own Juan Rivera autographed baseball card on eBay!
